In any case that your card is not able to do the auto-deduction within the first 7 days from your subsequent scheduled payment, please ensure that your card has sufficient payment limit for our system to re-attempt to charge your primary card used for FavePay Later and secondary card added to your Fave account. After the 8th day (where the late penalty fee kicks in), the auto-repayment cycle* will run every 3 days from 25th of the late payment month, up until 6/7th the following month. The auto-repayment cycle will only occur once for every late installment.
If you have missed the auto-recharge attempts for your installment, kindly change/update your payment card details for manual repayment attempt.
For example, if your installment payment due on 23rd Nov 2021 (D-0) fails to be charged to your FavePay Later card on its due date, the system will attempt for auto-deduction for the first 3 days on 24th (D-1), 25th (D-2) and 26th Nov 2021 (D-3) on your Primary card, if the card has sufficient balance for the auto-deduction to take place.
If the auto-deduction for the first 3 days fail, you are then required to click on the "late" button in FavePay Later page and follow through with all the prompts to update your card details. You can change/update your card details between 27th (D-4), 28th (D-5), 29th (D-6) and 30th Nov 2021 (D-7), to manually attempt payment and avoid the late payment fee.
As Day 8 of this installment (1st Dec 2021) falls within the auto-repayment cycle that begins on 25th Nov 2021, auto-recharge attempts will be made to your FavePay Later's Primary card and any existing secondary card on the Fave account on 1st, 4th, and 7th Dec 2021 (or until a successful payment is made, whichever date is earlier).
Should all auto-recharge attempts up until 7th Dec 2021 fail, the auto-repayment cycle for this installment will not occur again on 25th Dec 2021. The payment for the late installment will then have to be made manually following method 2 from this page: I have a late installment payment! What do I do?
